Princess Gwenevere And The Jewel Riders

The "Ten Commandments of the WEAVER"

I found it on the blog "Friends, needles and more ..." I invite you to visit. It has beautiful things!

DECALOGO OF WEAVER
1 º) When you have something to knit, weave, when it, too. Weave forever.

2 º) Do not try to invent a design point or coat for this season, will arrive next and will still unraveling and re-weaving. Do it for the next season, which no doubt will look beautiful, it is well known that posterity will always do justice.

3) In no circumstances forget the famous statement: "I'll never be like the magazine model."

4) if the magazine says you need a kilo of wool, buy a kilo and a half. Never blindly follow the instructions, so you can finish your piece and you just a little left over for a striped hat.

5 º) Believe it or not, knitting is an art: to be loom is to be an artist, like the soccer player or dancer, for this discipline, train yourself day and night.

6 º) Take all the disadvantages such as insomnia, depression, or waiting at the dentist. Nothing will change the circumstances but at least you'll have a garment.

7 º) do not bragging of success and failure Find yourself a good time to time so that your friends do not suffer.

8 °) Format an intelligent public, which gets between children and the elderly. Thus no shortage either the understanding or encouragement, that emanates from these two sources only.

9 º) When in doubt, weaves and if doubt persists, unravels. Herein lies the only true wisdom that can accompany a weaver.

10 º) tries to weave the garments so that the wearer look slim, elegant and fashionable. Occasionally attempts actually is.

White Bump On Gums Painful

Facilities woven by artist Janet Morton

(first frost)

(Tilo lace)

tissues Jobs Janet Morton can see inside, often in the community, covering trees and buildings. Who could have imagined that someone could make trees more beautiful than nature? No But these impressive networks in their trunks as cover crochet hugs, sheltering, decorating and accentuating the contours of these creatures as majestic towers. Tilo

lace 2003 - Your work is done in a comprehensive study of architecture, texture, comfort, value, use of exterior or interior spaces, feminism, domestic life, crafts, language, isolation and community ... it is quite ..

Four Seasons - 2004
In an installation, "Four Seasons", needed to add 10,000 sheets of cloth to the branches of trees. A great thought-provoking work. Here all the stations are present while showing a variety of beautiful colors, presents the tree over a year. The complete cycle in one place, created artificially. The presentation of their work continuously in open shows his desire to communicate with the public and to ensure no one is out of this experience, participating with the subject, or a piece.

Unberthing - E sta work has been armed with 400 pieces made by participants who have submitted woven squares. Each square marks an event of personal or historical significance, with a date and a ball of wool hanging from his cut

- This installation is the translation of a poem. The leaves were made of rough-woven socks to work. The notion of work is another recurring theme in his work. Interpreted as achieving beautiful and delicate garments, with those used at work, socks every day as a sign of respect for the work and the worker

You may have seen the point installation in Janet Morton Point Crafts Council a couple of years ago. This is a fully furnished interior, with knits, characteristic of the 50 games. A vacuum cleaner provides a nod to the work or housework, but the glass wool with foam provides a nod to feminists and the famous piece of Meret Oppenheim. (Breakfast game skin? Part surreal in a cup and saucer and spoon wrapped in leather)) Maybe it's respect for the work of the woman who has carried out the tasks and the point home at the time? Perhaps the cup is a sign of rebellion or a detail of irony?.

is exciting that an artist known for his pieces in wool and about, so thought provoking, giving the possibility of having the right to be seen. I hope to hear more about it in the future. Visit this link

Textile Museum Canada - An Overview
In 2000, Janet Morton presented an installation "wool work," an exhibition of sculptures by point: hand-worked sculptures that speak of time-honored traditions of making and doing things for people we love. It connects to the common things in monumental form. The insistent use of the artist who created textiles traditional links with their work methods and the creation of collective memories. However, the sculpture comprises an eclectic field, committed to both popular culture and personal values \u200b\u200b...: "" While you are knitting, you are not wasting their time "

About Mary Frances handbags fashion

Dias past a friend who lives in the U.S., sent me a mail telling me how he had gone on the cruise she did with her husband. in his comment tells me about some PORTFOLIO SAW ON BOARD. (Transcribe their lines)

"Delight because it seems a matter of check boxes, go to the fair, looking for poultry pens, looking for buttons, buy nail painting or anything crazy and beautify the bags are handmade, satin fabric, velvet, leather, whatever comes. Cooked seams by hand, the majority and also stuck others. Use caravans, artificial flowers, stones that are painted with bright nail polish to look like jewels, stones and tiles crumbled feathers. part of necklaces. Shoes and sandals with feather trim and caravans

saw very original portfolio. Suppose you try first with newspaper. It takes a brilliant bag of potato chips and cut the long strips of, and approx. 1 cm wide. Any magazine paper and glossy photos serve. Each band is going through another - above, below and "intermingle" other colors to a rectangle. It gives you the depth you want and continue to form the lid. I saw one the size of a box of chocolates, pretty flat, closing with a button ... but the tips were deformed, and seemed to be lifted like wings. For my taste needed two buttons, one to the left and one on the right.

Very, very new and the bag was armed thing that can be read, for example, "potato" or see part of a warning. Then when finished emptying the bag I hope to find the name of the "artist." Would not it be Mary Frances?

I hope you understand what I explain ... I did not think searching for "boutique crafts ".... "
